PETITION TO THE LEAGUE TREATMENT OF POLISH JEWS (Received May 2S, 6.35 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, May 27 At a meeting of the Council of the League of Nations called to consider Herr Bernkeim's petition on the treatment of Polish Jews in Gorman Upper Silesia, the German delegate, Herr von Keller, refused to accept the report presented by the Irish Free State delegate, Mr. Lester. Tfc was agreed that an amended report bo submitted on Monday.
