TIME TRIALS DECIDED MANUKAU CLUB'S EVENTS Two events under unpaced, time trial, conditions were conducted by the Manukau Amateur Cycling Club on Saturday. Good racing conditions prevailed. Tho club's scratch rider, L. H. Dwight, was outstanding in tho senior competition. Nino started in the junior event over five miles, with tho following results on tho scaled handicap:—J. F. AUCKLAND AMATEUR CLUB The Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club hold a 25-miles time trial of two laps of the To Atatu circuit on Saturday tinder ideal conditions. W. Barry, who started first, was not headed and with his handicap won by 34a, with H. Webster second. The result was:—W. Barry (4m 30s), 69m 17s, 1; H. Webster (3m 30s), 68m Bis, 2; R. TAKAPUNA AMATEUR CLUB Tho Takapuna Amateur Cycling Club held senior and junior handicap races on Saturday, when closo finishes resulted in each event. AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB Tho weather was much calmer for the Auckland Ladies' Amateur Cycling Club's four-laps' raco of 3.7 miles on Saturday, and this partly accounted for the faster times done. Miss Holen Robinson again won fairly comfortably by 9s from Miss Violet Baird, repeating her performance of tho previous week, and thereby gaining a fourpoint lead in tho competition for the Kohn Cup. Miss Ellio Swinburne, who started with Miss Robinson, kept with her until tho third lap, and eventually finished third.
