Jarvis, Otago, beat D. H. Symes, Canterbury, by 2ft in 25 l-ss. Following tho breaking three weeks ago of tho New Zealand intermediate boys' 100 yards breaststrokq record of 75 3-5s by 4-ss, R. Geddes mado a further successful attempt on the record, covering tho distance in the astonishing time of 73 4-ss. This is only 3-5s lower than the senior Australian record.
