PENWOMEN'S CLUB
" It is the massed thought of to-day that will make the future of to-mor-row," said Mrs. Gordon Robertson in her lecture on "Thought and Literature Abroad " to the members of the 3?en women's Club on Friday afternoon. Throughout her talk the speaker stressed the need for greater cosmopolitanism in thought and the development of the spirit of interhationalism, "Jn my opinion every child should have a thorough grounding in foreign history," remarked Mrs. Robertson. She dealt briefly with the chief characteristics of the literature of France, Germany, Spain, Japan and China. Mrs. Carr-Rollett, president, presided/Mrs. Roose gave a musical monologue. The Glee Club, under Miss Amy Hansard, also held its weekly meeting.
