HOCKEY PLAYER'S INJURY

Although two bones in his hand were broken in tho first match, a hockey player who competed in the recent tournament at Waitara was not aware of tho fact until some time afterwards. Douglas Vincent, tho Stratford goalkeeper, was struck by another player's stick. At tho end of tho match ho had tho hand, which was slightly lacerated, bandaged, and he played in the second match. He knocked his hand against the goalpost in attempting to stop a shot and fainted. Examination showed that two bones were broken in tho back of his hand.
