SALE OF PROPERTY MACHINE FOR NEW ZEALAND SOUTHERN SKY ACQUIRED PURCHASE PRICE £2150 By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received-April 18, 7.25 p.m. SYDNEY, April 18 At an auction sale of the property of tho Australian National Airways (in liquidation), a passenger aeroplane, the Southern Sky, was purchased on behalf of Mr. H. M. M ackay, managing director of New Zealand Airways. Tbo price was £2150. The machine will remain in Sydney pending advice from New Zealand. It is a triplo-engined craft with accommodation for eight passengers. Mr. H. M. Mackav, of Duncdin, was a passenger in the Southern Cross when tho monoplane was flown from NinetyMile Beach to Sydney on March 26. He returned to New Zealand by the Monterey last week.
