A brown colt by Pantheon brought 1100 guineas, as did a colt by Constant Son. Several Magpie colt 3 made 450 guineas. Percy Miller's draft frotn the Scone Stud, comprising mostly Pantheon's, excited keen competition, nine selling for a total of 2750 guineas. SYDNEY CUP RACE ROGILLA'S PERFORMANCE SYDNEY. April 18 The Sydney Morning Herald, commenting 011 the Sydney Cup. says :—Rogilla won by means of an amazingly fast and long run. His speed carried him from a rear position at the mile to the lead at the half mile and his stamina enabled him to continue his run for the last half mile and to beot off 11 strong challenge by two lightly-weighted runners. The Daily Telegraph says :—Rogilla's burst of speed was breath-taking and amazed the thousands of peoplo who saw the rncc. 'Rogilla's rider can hardly be complin>onted (or the manner in which he rode the chestnut and in winning under such circumstances Rogilla proved himself a first-class horse.
