ENGLISH CRICKETERS
PRESENTATIONS AT SUVA [from our oavn correspondent] SUVA, April 8 Keen disappointment was expressed by local cricketing enthusiasts yesterday, when heavy rain prevented the playing of a match with tho touring English team, which arrived by the Aorangi. The visitors also expressed their disappointment, stating that they had been keen to try conclusions with some of the native cricketers. However, the rain did not prevent tho entertainment of the visitors at afternoon tea, and the performanoo of tho usual picturesque native ceremonies. The traditional tabua was presented to Jardino, and he and Wvartt also received a walking stick. Several native dances were also given.
