MACHINE-GUN BULLETS
LORRY DRIVER'S ESCAPE .Although warning notices had been published directing public attention to gun-firing practice near Green Hills, New South Wales, several timbergetters have risked their lives by going into tho danger zone. A lorry laden with timber recently came within range of a machine-gun. The driver happened to bo oil tho side of the lorry away from tho firing, but 16 bullet holes were bored in his lorry and timber from tho burst fired.
