BAPTIST CAMP
Over campers attended the Baptist camp held at Clevedon South during Easter. The gathering was under the direction of the Rev- P. L. -ACrampton, the Rev. J. Hiddlest-on acting as camp captain, Mr. W. R. Armour as secretary, and Mr. R. C. J. Smith as treasurer. On Easter Friday a service was held in the morning by the Rev. A. <T. Grigg, Avhile in the afternoon the campers were welcomed to the district by Mr. N. J. Sutherland. Three services were held 011 Sunday, the first by Mr. Crampton and the second by the Rev. G. Thornton, the evening service being conducted by the Rev. .!• D. .Jensen. Swimming sports, cricket and football matches and a cross-country run were decided on Saturday, while on Monday an athletic meeting was held*
