STOLEN AND BURNED
LOSS OF NEW MOTOR-CAR Valued nt £SOO, anil understood nor to linve boon insured, a now saloon car which was unlawfully removed from a parking area in Palmerston North one recent evening, was later iound blading in a street at Feilding. It was totally destroyed. The owner of the ear, Mr. K. Haven, attended n picture entertainment, leaving the car in the street. When he went to return home at 10.20 it was gone. It had apparently been taken early in the evening, for at 9 p.m. the attention of Mr. .lolm Uaitholoinew was called to a (ire outside his house at Feikling. Ho discovered the ear on lire and called the fire brigade, but nothing could bo done to save the vehicle.
