Monday The Spillnne Cup Rugby tournament, between North Island Marint Rugby Clubs, culminated in a narrow victory for Wellington over Gisborne Celtic in the final. Wellington accounted for Wanganui in the semi-final by 15 (o 3, and in the afternoon met a. vigorous Gisborne side. At the call of time the score was three-all. Extra time was played, according to the tournament rule that the first score should decide the matter.
