HOW TO GET A JOB
PERSEVERING BOY A lad \\ ho should do woll demonstrated in Mastcrton tho other day that tho way to get a job is to go after it. Ho found his opportunity at a horso sale, at which a largo number of farmers assembled. When the auctioneers had had their turn the youngster addressed the farmers standing round, told them he wanted a job, and invited any of them to give him one. Thoro was no response at the moment, but the lad was not disheartened. He next tackled tho farmers individually and went from one to another until ho came across 0110 who agreed to give him a job. His pluck and initiative thus stood him in good stead, and ho proceeded to his job on Thursday.
