The track whs in good order, but slow. Half a niilo from home Mercian Prince and Chief Lino moved up and tho threo were on terms entering tho straight. In a groat finish, Park Acre prevailed. Adventus was fourth. King Peg then took the lead, but gave way to Lapstone, who led round tho turn from King Peg, Beaconsfieid, Chief Marionette, Pladie, Cavendish, Dick Whittington and King Win. Tho last-named finished with a burst of speed, and won comfortably by two lengths. The third horse was a similar distance away. Time, lm 17e. View Halloo came up in pursuit, but Juggle held him off to . win by three-quarters of a length, with a gap of three lengths to La Poupee, Copper King came from a long way back to finish close up fourth.
