RACE TO COROMANDEL SUCCESS OF THE MAHAKI [by telegraph—own correspondent] COHOMANDEL, Sunday The finishing times in the annual yacht race from Auckland to Coromandel, which started from the King's Wharf last Thurs- ! day night, were as follows: Keel Yachts.—Mahaki (30m), 3h 41m Is; Qucenio (21m), 3h 50m Gs; Speedwell (21m), 4h 4 m 3s. j 2G-footers.—Celos (4m). 3h 29m; Starloch (4m), Jih 30m Is: Omatere (scr), 3h 38m I j 20s; Komuri (20m), 3)i 47m 2s; Starlight | (Gm), 3h 49m 4s; Doreen (3m), 3h 57m. 10s; .Spray (10m), 4h 4m 3s; Malua (3Gm), 4h Gm 4s. Mirage (20m) and Waitohi (4Gm) j also finished. I Results 011 corrected times were:—Keel | yachts: Mahaki, 1; Queenie, 2; Speedwell, | 3. 20-footers: Celox, 1; Starloch, 2; Komuri, | 3; Doreen, 4. Only two minutes separate-J the first four boats. There were no results in tho 16 and ISfooters, owing to the capsize of Drone and Mystic. RACES AT COROMANDEL [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] COROMANDEL, Sunday Yacht races were hold off the Coromandel Wharf on Saturday, the boats which sailed in the annual race from Auckland j participating. Results were as foljows:— 26-footers.—Starlight. 1; Celox, 2. IS-footers and Under.—Swiftsure, ]; Drone, 2; Paroro, 3. The committee decided that the 18- I footers' raco from Auckland to Coromandel, j I called off through the capsize of Drone and j j Mystic, should bo sailed at the snme time j ai the 18ft and under handicap.
