NEED FOR ECONOMY
Sir, —Economy in administration seeflw to be difficult to obtain. At the present time we have three Ministers of the Crown in the North of Auckland. Two of them are accompanied by high officials of their various departments, private secretaries, and bo on. A new fad to spend more of the taxpayers' money is to send an inspector of dairy factories, cowsheds, etc., to inspect the permanent Government dairy inspector's work. One day last week, in a little hamiet in the north, there were three inspectors—two for the -Agricultural Department and one for the Post and Telegraph. Every few days an inspector of something or other motors along. A Growleb.
