THE WAEPAHI The Waipahi sailed for Suva, Nukualofa, Vavau and Apia on Thursday afternoon. From Apia the vessel will return to Auckand, via Suva, about May l. KARAMEA FOR FINAL LOADING The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Karamea arrived from Wellington on day morning and berthed at Central Wha to complete loading. The vessel is eail on Wednesday for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Las Palrnas. AKAROA AT SOUTHAMPTON The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Akaroa is reported to have reached Southampton from Wellington on Wednesday. She was despatched from. Wellington on March 8. MAKUiRA FOR SAN FRANCISCO The Royal Mail liner Makura. left Sydney -for San Francisco, via Wellington, Rarotonga and Papeete, on Thursday afternoon. TANKER OSTHAV The Norwegian motor-tanker Osthay is due from Singapore at noon to-day with a full cargo of petrol for the Shell Company. After unloading a quantity of c ar K° a Western Wharf she will proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. • THE PORT HUNTER Reported to have cleared Panama last Sunday the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hunter is en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. She is scheduled to reach Auckland about May 1. . THE RANGITATA The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitata, which arrived a<t Wellington from London on Wednesday, will proceed from Wellington to Lyttelton to commence loading for h6r homeward voyage before she comes to Auckland to completo unloading general merchandise from London. She is expected to reach Auckland next Thursday. MONOWAI FROM SYDNEY The Monowai left Sydney for Auckland at 3.20 o'clock on Thursday afternoon. She is due about seven o'clock on Monday morning and will berth at Queen's Wharf to land passengers, mail and cargo. The vessel will leave Auckland on Tuesday and Wellington next Thursday for Sydney and Melbourne. NIAGARA CLEARED SUVA Advice received by the Union Company states that the Royal Mail liner Niagara, en route from Vancouver, cleared Suva at i nine o'clock yesterday morning and expects to reach Auckland at ten o'clock on Monday morning. After landing passengers, mail and cargo at Prince's Wharf the vessel is scheduled to resume her voyage to Sydney at five o'clock on Tuesday evening. MAHANA AND OTAKI The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana and. the New Zealand Shipping "Company's steamer Otaki sailed for Wellington and Wanganui on Thursday morning to complete loading. The Mahana is to leave Wanganui for Hook of Holland and London, via Cape Horn, on April 21, and the Otaki is to leave the following day for London, via Montevideo and Las Palmas. PUKEKO AND PAKURA Messrs. Watkin and Wallis advise that the Pukeko is due from Gisborne to-morrow evening and will be docked next Wednesday for cleaning and painting. She will resume running in the Auckland-East Coast bay trade on April 26. The Pakura is being recommissioned and will load next Tuesday and Wednesday. She is scheduled to sail for East. Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier on Wednesday evening.
