p Double daisies nro valuable, hardy, dwarf-growing spring flowering subjects. Tliey nro efFeetivo as border plants. Beds composed entirely of those plants givo a pretty efleet. They nro specially adapted for those localities where cold spring climatic conditions exist. Healthy plants bedded out in the autumn produce an abundance of spring and early-summer flowers. The colours of the flowers nro white, pink, fiery scarlet. Some aro prettily quilled. All have large, full, double flowers. They succeed best in a fairly moist loamy soil that has been well enriched with manure*
