AN AUTUMN GLORY P Cosmea, one of tho glories of tho autumn garden, is one of the finest annuals for tnblo decoration and cutting. Tho dainty flowers both in form and colouring, are most useful and attractive at the present time. The Mammoth Perfection, largo single flowers are produced in the greatest abundance, showing a bright mass of beautiful colours, comprising pure white, crimson, lovely largo pinks and other shades in early and late-flowering varieties. Thero are also double-flowering forms that aro specially prized for cutting. Tho plants are of dwarfer habit of growth. Tho doubling is not quite fixed and a percentage of single flowers is always produced. Cosmea require a. sheltered place in the garden, with sufficient room to develop. YELLOW COSMEA The Klondyke variety of cosmea produces rich golden-yellow flowers in tho greatest profusion. Both tho flowors and tho foliage, which aro quite distinct from tho other kinds, aro oxcellent for cutting. This variety comes into flowering late, after tho othors have done, consequently it is not suitable for the colder localities. The extra early-flower-ing varieties may bo planted m October. Theso are specially adapted for the colder localities.
