Under tho authority and with tho approval of the Customs Department, Butterwortlu and Co. (Aus.), Ltd., havo published for tho benefit of businessmen a booklet entitled Sales Tax Legislation." Tho author is Mr. J. P. Kavanagh, editor of tlio New Zealand Law Journal, whoso aim has been to make his work " simple and comprehensive." A chapter on sales tax accounting is contributed by Messrs. Watkins, Hull, Wheeler and Johnston, public accountants. Ihe volume should bo of service in everj business.
