ABOUT EASTER EGGS
In Europe " Easter " eggs are looker! upon «s emblems or bigns of renewed lifo. It is from the East, however, that we get our idea of giving Faster eggs to friends. In Persia, the god of light was supposed forever to fight against the god of darkness for tho ownership of tho sign of waiting life that lay in an egg. Therefore, Persian people gave away eggs to show their goodwill and to prove that they bore no malice or spite.
