CHAIRMAN'S RETIREMENT An announcement that ho would not offer himself for re-election to the Auckland Harbour Board has been made by Mr. G. 1?. Hutchinson, who has been a member of the board since 1913, and chairman for the past two years. At a meeting of the board-in-committeo members urged him to undertake a, further term of office, but Mr. Hutchinson said his decision was final. It is understood Mr. Hutchinson will nominato Mr. Ernest Davis for a scat on tho board. Air. Davis was a member in 1919 and 1920.
