TITANIC DISASTER
The 21st anniversary of tho Titanic disaster, involving the loss of 1635 lives out of a total complement of 2310, fell yesterday. Tho Titanic, a White Star liner of 45,000 tons, sharing with tho Olympic the distinction of being then the largest ship afloat, collided with an iceberg off the Newfoundland coast while on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York.
