LARGER COAL OUTPUT
THE MINES AT HUNTLY An increase of about 1000 tons a day in the output of coal from the f° ur mines at Huntly has followed the lowering of the price at the beginning of the week. During normal times, the average gross tonnage from the fo" r mines at Huntly totals between I§oo and 2000 tons, but this week about 3000 tons has been sent out on trucks each day to northern and southern districts. About 800 trucks are normally required to cope with the distribution of coal, but bv tha end of this week 1100 trucks will have been commissioned. Each truck averages about ten tons of coal.
