The inside grass was also used. On the plough Monarchy and Fondle ran five furlongs in I.G, tho latter finishing in front. False Scent, carrying a light weight, finished in front of Tahoma in 1.5, doing it easily. White Fang, who looks improved, recorded the same time, but was going very comfortably. On the grass Limbohm and Mana'a Gift (Hunting Song—Sungift) finished a couple of furlongs, with the latter showing more speed. He is a grer.t mover, but whistles when galloping owing to aomo defect in the nostril. On tho plough Cuticle and Shrewd galloped six furlongs in 1.20, Cuticle being slightly in front. They will race at Feilding at Easier.

Royal Tune and Red Bank covered a round of the fences iu 1.40, a good gallop. Both jumpfed well, but rapped tho last couple of iences. Gold Trail sprinted six furlongs on the plough in 1.19, accompanied over tho last four furlongs by Grand Sport. They finished together. Gold Trail pulled up well and seems to a certain extent to bo rid of her cold. She is definitely going to Auckland for the Easter meeting. Maine and Ilybiscus easily sprinted four furlongs on the grass in 525. They are both forward. Sir Nigel, another fair maiden, took 51s. Royal Hunting, showing a,ny amount of dash, sprinted four furlongs on the plough with Jazz King in 51s. Royal Hunting finished in front and looks exceedingly well.

Princess Bell and Slippery finished in that order over five furlongs on the plough in 1.31, a good gallop. Hard Gold did a round of tho country, but was fooling tho hard ground. He jumped well. Princess Elizabeth also covered a round of hurdles, but was inclined to jump Luna Lux, a promising steeplechaser, did a couple of solid rounds on tho plough with .Gold Ruler, both shaping well. High Grader jumped with dash over three fences. He has plenty of size nnd pace. Passion Fruit. Bradmnn and another worked half a mile on the grass in 501s. Passion Fruit will bo a great sort of three-year-old. This morning Gold Trail, White Fang and Shrewd, all carrying light weights, finished in that order at the end of a round on the plough in 1.11. a useful gallop. Gold Trail coughed slightly afterwards.
