It had to come. An advertising agency had to be the venue for a murder. Every other possible place had been called into use by crime story writers. Advertising practitioners, however, will forgive Miss Dorothy L. Sayers for choosing their profession to be involved in a murder, as she has written an unusual story which one has no hesitation in recommending. Miss Sayers evidently knows a great deal at first hand about advertising and publicity matters, and she tells of it frankly and convincingly. The demise of a copy-writer in Pym's Publicity, Ltd., as the result of what appears an accident, leads to an ingenuous crime story, which will bo thoroughly enjoyed by the most hardened murder story addict.
