NATIONAL RESERVE

A meeting of the Women's National Reserve was held at Mrs. King's residence. Mrs. Fitchett presided. Letters of thanks were received from the wives of several ex-soldiers whom the society had helped since the last meeting. Tho president reported that the society had been successful in its efforts to obtain increased pensions for several exsokliers. Members undertook to assist at various stalls on Poppy Day. It was decided to hold tho reunion in the spring. It was also resolved to make warm garments for distribution among needy ex-soldiers' families.
