GIFT FROM DIRECTORS Mr. G. C. Codlin, manager of th® New Zealand H£rald, who will leave shortly for Sydney, was presented by the directors of Wilson and Horton, Limited, yesterday with a silver tea and coffee service. The presentation was made by Mr. H. Horton, chairman of

directors, who referred appreciatively to the valuable services rendered by Mr. Codlin throughout a period of bver 30 years, during which he had risen, from a junior position to the highest executive office in the company's service. Mr. Horton expressed the regret of the directors at the termination of Mr. Codlin's association with the company and extended good wishes for hi| success in his new sphere of activity.
