THE SALVATION ARMY

CELEBRATION OF JUBILEE The jubilee celebrations of the Salvation Army in New Zealand will be continued in Auckland to-day. This afternoon an "Old Identities" meeting will be held in the Congress Hall. It is expected that many interesting reminiscences will be exchanged of the early days when the activities of the army met with bitter-opposition. The "Old Identities" meeting will be followed by a jubilee tea meeting. A march through the street and open air demonstrations will precede the "Thanksgiving and Testimony Meeting" to be held in the Congress Hall at 8 p.m. Special addresses will be g;iven at to-morrow's meetings. The congress will continue until Tuesday evening. Yesterday a series of officers' councils was held, matters of internal interest being discussed.
