PROPOSED DOMINION TOUR OFFER BY AUSTRALIA ■ # [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday Speaking of the proposed visit of an English team next season at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Football Association this evening, Mr. 13. L. Salmon paid the offer from the Australian Association was that New Zealand should pay £3OOO, plus travelling and other expenses. Compared with the offer made by Australia in 1925, the present olfer was £2OOO better. Messrs. G. F. Campbell and B. L. Salmon were elected the first life vicepresidents of the New Zealand Football Association in recognition of their long years of service to the game as players, referees and on the council. Mr. Campbell was 10 years on the council and was chairman for six years. Mr. Salmon was secretary from 1906 to 1925 and has been associated with the game for 41 years. INTER-ISLAND MATCH NORTH TEAM SELECTED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday The following team has been selected to represent the North Island in the Soccer match against the South Island at Wellington on Easter Saturday:—Zuill (Auckland), Stone and Gerrard (Auckland), J. McLeod (Wellington), Christie (Auckland), captain, and Crabbe (South Auckland), Barton (Wellington), M. Condon (Wellington), Leslie (AVellinct'on), Kershaw (Wellington), and Kay (Auckland). j
