REVIVAL OF INDUSTRY
UNITED ACTION NEEDED ATTACK ON UNEMPLOYMENT [IIY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday In an address to the Wellington Chamber of Commerce Mr. J. D. McMillan, of Auckland, advanced proposals for national financial reconstruction. Tho principal object is to promote industrial enterprise by a system of State guarantee for three years. A resolution was passed declaring that the present conditions called for immediate united action on the part of business men in the formation and
sponsoring of a plan to attack unemployment and rebuild prosperity. Tho proposal to form a national reconstruction association, as suggested by Auckland business men, was endorsed.
