PROFESSIONAL BOXING
LOWE DEFEATS CROFT [BY TELEGRAPn —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Monday A 15-round professional middleweight contest between Bert Lowe (Dunedin), 11.5, and Tom Croft (Greymouth), 11.5, attracted a large attendance at the Town Hall this evening. The fight went the frill distance, but was not of a high standard, Lowe winning on points. A 10-round preliminary bout between C. Buckley (Dunedin), 9.3, and C. .Tones (Oamaru), 8.132, resulted, in a draw.
