NIGHT-LETTER CABLES
ALTERATIONS IN CHARGES AUSTRALIA AND FIJI An increase is announced in tho minimum rates for night-letter telegrams between New Zealand and Australia and New Zealand and Fiji. An increase from 20 to 25 is made, however, in tho number of words which may be sent at tho minimum charge. As between New Zealand and Australia tho new rate will be 3s 9d for a minimum of 25 words, as against 3s for 20 words. For each additional word 2d will be charged, as was tho caso formerly. Between New Zealand and Suva tho new rate will bo 6s 3d for 25 words, compared with 5s lOd for 20 words, each additional word costing 3d, as against 3Jd- To other places in Fiji the rate will bo 8s 4d instead of 7s 4d to 7s 6d, 25 words being allowed in place of 20. Each additional word will cost -Id instead of 4sd.
