Mrs. E. F. Greig and Miss A. "R. Williamson, of Hawera, are at the Star Hotel. Mrs. R. C. Buchanan, of Edinburgh, and Mrs. and Miss Godher, of Nottingham, England, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mrs. Sydney Clark, of Wallace's Hill, Te Awamutu, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. P. E. Cheal, Lochiel Road, Rcmucra. Mrs. H. Saunders, of Awatea Road, Parnell, will leave by the Monowai on Friday for Melbourne, where she will in future reside. The Misses 10. Cartwriglit and E. Black, of .England, Mrs. W. Taylor, of Dunedin, and Miss Frosh, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel. Miss Blanche Trovithick, of Owen's Road, Epsom, will leave by the Tainui on Wednesday on a visit to England and the Continent. She expects to be away for about 18 months. Staying at the Central Hotel are:— Mrs. H. V.- Humphries and Miss Ola Humphries, of Atiamuri; Mrs. C. E. Young, Whakatane; l)r. Mary Douglas and Miss E. McKay, Hamilton. At a gathering of parishioners of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tauranga, a presentation was made by the Rev. Father Bressers to Mrs. and Miss Cronin, who are leaving to live in Hamilton. In making the presentation, Father Bressers made appreciative reference to the services of Mr., Mrs. and .A! iss Cronin to tho parish. Songs and other items were contributed by the Misses Coughlait (2),, Trundle, Cronin and Nugent.
