DANCE AT OTAIKA The second annual grand dance under the auspices of the Otaika Welfare League was held in the Otaika Public Hall, when there was an attendance of approximately 150, including visitors from the surrounding districts. Several novelty dances were held, the winners being:-—Statue one-step, Miss 0. Thaekaray and Mr. P. Cook; Monte Carlo waltz, Miss F. Pitman and Mr. P. Marsh; spot waltz, Miss S. Donaldson and Mr. Ji. Tito. Among those present were: —Mrs. Fayne, Mrs. Murray, Mrs. C. Cuff, Mrs. M. V. Morgan, Mrs. S. Hopewell, Mrs. H. North, Mrs. A. Howartk, Mrs. Wallbank, Miss R. Lyon, Miss D. Mee, Miss JO. Middlcton, Miss Murray, Miss Peacock, Miss I. Smart, Miss J. Bland, Miss E. Paki, Miss E. Fischer, Miss M. Crosbib, Miss F. Pitman, Miss T.; Wall, Miss S. Donaldson, Miss 0. Litt,; Miss Naomi Mce, Miss P. Porter,. Miss E. Pitman, Miss D. Litt, Miss M. Cook, Miss E. Gordon, Miss E. Donaldson, INliss R. Vylc. IMJss M. Thackaray and Miss E. Schofield.
