ELLERSLIE WEIGHTS EASTER HANDICAP FIELD GOLDEN WINGS AT TOP TIIE BRIGHTON HURDLES The declaration of weights for handicap events 011 the first day serves as a reminder' that the opening of {ho Auckland Racing Club's Autumn Meeting is now less than a fortnight off. M'anawhenua, Gold Trail and Refresher have been weighted at 8.3, Royal Artist at 8.2 and Inflation at 8.0. The 15 others range down to the minimum, 7.0. Prince o£ Orange heads the Brighton Hurdles list with 11.10, and Cruachan is next with 11.6. There are six in the division between 10.0 and 11.0, and eleven in that between 9.0 and 10.0. Lucess, who ran third to Luminary and Patutahi, is the only one of last year's field engaged again this year, and he has been weighted at 10.1, an increase of lib.
