SPORTS GATHERINGS TE PUKE CLUB'S MEETING The' Te Puke Athletic Club will hold its annual sports meeting at Rugby Park. Te Puke, on Wednesday, April 19. Tha principal running event is th_e 120 yds Te Puke Handicap of £l4. There are also races over 220 yds, 410 yds, 880 yds and one mile, each of a value of £7. The main cycling race is a three miles handicap valued at £ls, and | thero are also events over one mile and two miles, each liberally endowed. The To Puke Standing Handicap Chop of £l4 is the chief attraction for bushmen, while there is also a maiden chop and an underhand chop.
