WOMEN'S CLUB

LITERARY CIRCLE AT HOME Tlic literary circle of the Whangarei Women's Club entertained the members at an At Home in the social room of the club on Wednesday afternoon.. Sirs. Ilar-n-an Smith, president of the club, extended a hearty welcome on behalf of the literary circle. A very enjoyable musical programme was rendered by Mrs. H. W. Crawford, Mrs. G. Woolley and Madame Rolfe-Smith. A onc-act plnv by G. Bornand Shaw entitled, "How Ho Lied to Her Husband," was ably performed by Mrs. G. 11. Morrish, Miss L. Brougliton Carp and .Miss M.
