CARPENTERS' AWARD
HARBOUR BOARD'S POSITION [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday Partial exemption from the New Zealand carpenters and joiners' award was granted the Wellington Harbour Board in an order issued by tho Court of Arbitration. Tho order bound tho board only by such provisions of the award as relate to tho payment of minimum rates of wages and overtime, and tho observance of Sundays and holidays.
