SOUTHERN CROSS
MORE FLIGHTS PLANNED TO ENGLAND IN AUGUST SYDNEY, March 28 Sir Charles Kingsford Smith already is planning more long flights. r lbc first wil be in June, when he will take eight 01 10 passengers on a round-Australia tourist flight, to last about a month. In August he plans to fly the Southern Cross to England, taking eight passengers. Captain I'. G. lay lor and Mi. J. 1. Pethybridge will he the relief pilots. While the Southern Cross remains in England Sir Charles will fly a I'ercival Cull aeroplane to all the European capitals. Captain Taylor will pilot the Southern Cross on the return journey. Sir Charles intends to give the monoplane a few days' start, then to catch it up in the I'ercival Gull so as to reach Australia at the same time as the Southern Cross.
