TO SHRINK VOILE
It is wise to shrink the material before cutting out a frock of cotton voile, and it is possible to do this without spoiling the first freshness of the material. Place a large dish of boiling water cn the table and hold the material over it. When the fabric is slightly damp all over from the steam press it ciry and proceed with the dressmaking. This is a good safeguard against the discomfort of having your frock become skimpy after it goes to tho wash-tub.
