WARSHIPS' MOVEMENTS
GUN PRACTICE IN GULF VISIT TO NORTHERN PORTS
After acting as flagship at yesterday's Anniversary Regatta, H.M.S. Dunedin will leave this morning for the Hauraki Gtilf to carry out gunnery exercises. On February 8 she will bo joined by H.M.S. Diomede. After carrying out manoeuvres together, the two warships will return to port. Both H.M.S. Dunedin and H.M.S. Diomede will lea.ve Auckland for Russell and Whangaroa on February 21. On March 4 they will leave Whangaroa on a cruise to Southern ports, the Diomede first proceeding to Napier and the Dunedin to New Plymouth. The Diomede will return to Auckland from the Southern cruise on April 22 and the Dunedin on May 6.
