ANNIVERSARY DAY TOURNEYS SPLENDID CONDITIONS PREVAIL AUCKLAND CLUB'S CONTEST Thirty teams took part in the Auckland Bowling Club's annual Anniversary Day tourney. Splendid weather and prood greens made for a very successful function. Five rounds of 12 heads were played. Kesults are as follows: Section A.—Jury fPonsonby), Uren (Rem. uora), 4 winn; Gillies (Auckland), McGonnell (Mount Albert), Thomson (Rawhiti), 2 wins; Woolley (Auckland), 1 win. Jury won the section.

Section B.—Muston (Auckland), 4 wins; D. Campbell (Auckland), Dick (Porisonby), Sharp (Mount Albert), 3 wins; Farley (Rocky Nook), 2 wins; Nield (Manurewa), no wins. Muston won the section.

Section C.—Roberts (Balmoral), 4 wins; Tongue. (Rocky Nook), 3 wins; Maher Auckland), W. Smith (Auckland), Hunt (Takapuna), 2 wins. Roberts won the section. Section D.—Burrows (Waileinata), 5 wins; Bcnnet (Takapuna), 4 wins; Eagleton (Rocky Nook). 3 wins; F. Smith (Auckland), Campbell (Balmoral), 2 wins; Keesing (Auckland), no wins. TOURNEY AT ONEHUNGA The Neilson Memorial Cup competition, (lie annual Anniversary Day fixture of the Onehunga Bowling Club, was held yesterday and attracted an entry of It teams. Tho competition was divided into two sections. The final game resulted:—Mawson, Bell, Wallace, 11. A. Robertson, 11, v. McMaster, Smith, Munro, E. J. Galland, 0. MOUNT EDEN TOURNEY A full-rink tourney was held by the Mount Eden Bowling Club yesterday, resulting in a tie between Daisley, Cornes and Hull with 4 wins each. In the semi-final Cornes beat Daisley and will meet Hull in the final ou Saturday. CARLTON TO URN AM ENT A very successful tourney was held by tho Carlton Bowling Club yesterday, 22 teams competing. E. Jones won outright with G wins. H. Josey was runner-up aftera play-ofT with J. Duncan and W. Perry. MOUNT ALBERT TOURNEY Fifteen teams competed in a full-rink tournament held by tho Mount Albert Bowling Club yesterday. In section A. Edmunds, I. Stevens, U. Dawson, R. Thomas won with 5 wins. In section B, Lounden, Harris, J. Maxwell, B. ITarbutt and Stewart, Tomlinson. Sage, Iligginbotham lied with 4 wins each. In the play-oft Ilarbutt was successful. Tho final will be played at a later date. TOURNEY AT ELLERSLIE A full-rink tourney was held by the Ellerslio Bowling Club yesterday, 12 teams competing. Section A was won by Westbrooke with 5 wins, while Hay won section B with 5 wins. The final will be played at a later date. PONSONBY TOURNEY A progressive pairs tourney was held by tho Ponsonby Bowling Club yesterday, 28 teams competing. Among the skips Bryant and Gilmour tied with 5 wins, while Hutchison was tho successful lead. EPSOM TOURNAMENT A full-rink tournament was controlled by the Epsom Bowling Club yesterday. Section A was won by Sanderson, who defeated Richmond in a. play-off, while section B was won by Furncll. In tho final Furnell beat Sanderson.

BALMORAL CLUB Tho Balmoral Bowling Club hold a fullrink tournament yesterday, there being eight entries, nil from the club. Five games of 13 heads were played. The winning team was:—Gentles, Fergusson, Donald, Kelly, with 5 wins. TOURNEY AT GREF LYNN The Grey Lynn Bowling Club held a successful full-rink tourney yesterday. A tio resulted in section A between Liversidge and Walker with 5 wins and 1 loss, while Whittle won section B with 5 wins and 1 loss. Walker won the play-off in section A. The final will bo played on a date to be arranged.
