CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland.—Fine north-east weather continued yesterday. The sky was cloudy at periods, and the moderate breeze which was blowing made the conditions slightly cooler than the previous day. The barometer has been practically steady 30.15 in. since Monday. Wellington The weather' in Wellington was mainly overcast and very warm*, with occasional bursts of sunshine. Ihfl wind , was light from the north. Christchurch. —The weather yesterday was fine, with a cool breeze from the north-east The maximum temperatuie was 61 degrees The barometer fell six points to 30.15 in. Dnnedin.—ldeal summer weather prevailed yesterday, wi.th a fresh breeze from the north-east. The barometer fell several points and last evening registered 30.15*-
