'l'his is ani increase of 52,800 over the figure on j October 24. i PRINCE TO ASSIST I APPEAL FOR FUNDS GRANTS TO BE ADDED LONDON, Dec. 1 The Prince of Wales is heading a national movement to help the unemployed, and the Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, has consulted Church, education, industry, and social work leaders in regard to the scheme, which wjJJ be launched with an appeal for funds very shortly. The fund will be supplemented by grants from the Government and the Carnegie trustees. Work camps and recreation clubs will bo established with the object of preserving tho morale of the unemployed.
