REDUCTION IN FARES TO ENGLAND, VIA PANAMA An announcement of considerable importance to the travelling public is made by the New Zealand Shipping Company, Limited, with reference to their via Panama Canal. In their well known Motor Vessels " Rangitiki," " Rangitata " and " Rangitatic " the Second Saloon accommodation will in future be rated as Tourist Saloon at much reduced fares. The minimum single fare will be £45 in four-berth cabins. Other rates will be £47 in threeberth cabins,- £SO in two-berth cabins and £55 in single berth cabins. The corresponding return rates will be. £Bl, £BS, £9O and £99. The new rating will come into force with " Rangitaneleaving Wellington on December 23. " Renuiera," which has hitherto carried First, Second and 'I liird ass passengers will now be rated as Cabin Class and Tourist Class and the reduced rates will operate on and after lier voyage from London on December 15. Cabin Class fares will be from £ll to £B2 single and from £126 to £144 return from New Zealand. The accommodation includes large single bedstead cabins oil the Boat Deck at £B2 and private bath- _ rooms will be obtainable at £lOTourist Class single rates in this vessel will ranaje from £3B in six-berth cabins to £55 in single berth cabins and return rates from £6B to £99.
