SYDNEY, Dec. 5 The Federal Ministry has a proposal under consideration for building a railway from Bourke, New South Wales, through a portion of Queensland and the Northern Territory, to Port Darw n. It is understood th; t a British and local syndicate is prep; red to undertake construction, providing the Government grants the leasehold ind also freehold rights of enormous gracing lands in the Northern Territory and a 99-year lease ol Bathurst Island or Melville Island. It is estimated that flic cost of the lino would be £15,000,000.
