SINGLE MAN'S SUICIDE

WITNESS AT AN INQUEST [BY TELICGRAPIT —OWN CORRESPONDENT] INVERCARGILL, Monday An inquest was held to-day into the death of Albert Joseph Donovan, sijigle, aged 41, who was found dead on November 8 in an outhouse at his homo at YVaikiwi. Deceased had been a witness at 'in inquest held in the afternoon of the same day concerning the death of Hector Aitken, labourer, aged 38, who was found drowned in the Waihopai River on October 21. The police stated that between the time of Aitken's disappearance and his own death Donovan appeared to be very •worried. The "prospect of publicity had led him to take his life. The coroner returned a verdict that Donovan's death was due to poisoning, self-administered, while in a state of mental agitation.
