ALLEGED ATTACK ON GIRL
ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE ACCUSED AGAIN REMANDED [I3Y TELKGB APH—PR ESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN. Monday On a charge of attempting to murder Ruth Eleanor Corlet, aged 19. on November 14, Thomas Poison appeared on remand in the City Police Court (his morning. It is alleged that the girl was attacked with a hammer at a boarding house. Accused was remanded until December 16. The only evidence given to-day was that by Terrence Arthur Mears Maunsell, a university student, who told of finding accused in the room of a girl in the boarding house, of capturing him and of subsequently allowing him to leave the house.
