HOSPITAL CONCERT
The hospital cheer-up concert arranged by Mrs. Raeburn and Mr. A. Hamblin was given in Ward 1 on Wednesday evening. A delightful programme under the direction of Miss Daphne Higham was given, consisting of songs, violin solos, elocution and humorous items. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the concert party for the enjoyable evening. Those taking part were:—Miss Patricia McLeod, Miss Brierlv, Mr. Lvnton Eskrigge, songs; M iss Edna Thomas, elocution; Miss Daphne Higham, violin solos; Mr. John McDougal, Scottish humour. Mrs. Maud Lysaght was the accompanist.
